A BRIEF HISTORY AND MOTIVATION
THE BIRTH OF TOTAL LABOUR FORCE
Total Labour Force first started with the encouragement of the ‘small business development corporation limited’, seeing the need to remove unemployed skilled and unskilled labour from our streets and place them into positions of employment. Total Labour Force was formed and registered as a closed corporation on 1st December 1994 by Rory Reed and Craig Cheary.
The concern was fully operative by 1st April 1995 after being issued with a certificate of registration of labour broker’s office on 31st March 1995.
RORY ROBERT REED
As the principal member of the corporation, Rory has worked hard to build the concern up to its present clientele. Craig Cheary soon found it increasingly difficult to devote time to the running of the business, so it was mutually agreed that Rory Reed should take over and run Total Labour Force as the sole member. An amended founding statement was formed and registered on 30th April 1996. Rory has many years in the labour broking business and his experience, knowledge and understanding of the temporary contract labour industry is vast and comprehensive.
SERVICES PROVIDED
Total Labour Force supplies small crews for general duties and supplies crews for major shutdowns. Wherever possible we try and meet the needs of each project according to site, situation and conditions. A great part of our labour force has been with us for many years and are therefore highly recommended by ourselves and accepted by our clients who have come to know them well.
